Purging the refrigerant circuit for air conditioning systems with refrigerant R1234yf and R134a

The flushing kit allows flushing of air conditioning systems with dismantled compressors without disassembling any part of the system. The flushing of the system is basically compatible with RP-SR air conditioning service units with and without special software. It can also be used universally with other A/C service units (adapters may be required)

Purging air conditioning systems is one of the most important activities in case of repair or compressor damage. Flushing removes impurities and harmful substances from the air conditioning circuit. Flushing is necessary in order to carry out professional repairs and to avoid expensive follow-up repairs. It also preserves warranty claims against suppliers and ensures customer satisfaction.

However, compressors, expansion/throttle valves and filter driers or accumulators cannot be flushed. They must therefore be bridged by adapters during the purging process. After the purging process is complete, the valves and filters must be replaced.

application

a) for non-disassembled air conditioners:

This type of application is recommended when you want to clean the air conditioner from oils, additives or small impurities that remain in the system after "recycling" the gas or replacing the condenser or filter. Also, before each regular recharge of the air conditioner, you can flush the system and use this type of connection.

b) with the compressor dismantled:

This type of connection is indispensable when the system needs to be cleaned of oil, aluminum, residues, etc. after compressor failure.

General information

The quick couplings for connection to the air conditioner that has not been disassembled are not provided in this kit (use quick couplings from the air conditioner service unit).

Maintenance note

The life of the filter depends on the amount of dirt that remains in the system. Replace the filter every 10/15 cleanings or any time you notice a significant decrease in refrigerant flow rate during recovery.
