Wheel balancing has become increasingly important in recent years. At the same time, the demand for greater accuracy, centering quality and repeatability has increased. We comply with this request by special truck tensioning devices. If you use only cone-centering, you will not get any reproducible results.
The wheel balanced in an envelope failure test can display a new imbalance of up to 300 g and more. To avoid this, the truck tensioner must be used. This makes it possible that the weight of the wheel does not rest on the shaft. The specially developed bolts dip through the wheel mounting holes and the centering ring behind it serves as a support for the bolts. With this method, the turnover errors can be reduced to less than 50 grams.
